We have been using Christies services since 2004, and have gotten to know him as a stable, friendly and good driver. With Christy behind the wheels we have felt safe even in crazy traffic. He is not only a good driver, but friendly, helpful and a good guide. We recommend him warmly.

November 2018, Christi was our tour guide for a week following our week volunteering in Pinnawala. Christi is a fabulous man, respectful and knowledgeable Christi made our tour of Sri Lanka a wonderful experience. His knowledge of the roads and local sites was amazing, his skills extend to being a brilliant photographer too, ensuring that my husband and I have great photos to treasure a life time. We had the okessure of meeting Christi beautiful family too. Thank you all.

Wij zijn net terug van een 16-daagse rondtour met Christi Fernando als gids en zijn chauffeur Lassa. We waren met 4 personen ( allen 60 +). Christi weet ontzettend veel over zijn land te vertellen. Soms pasten we ons programma aan naar onze eigen wensen en dat was geen probleem. Hij deed meer dan zijn werk was, heel alert op mensen die ons teveel geld vroegen etc. Heeft hart voor zijn land en volk. Wij voelden ons heel veilig bij hem en Lassa die- werkelijk waar- fantastisch reed. Het busje was zéér comfortabel en ruim genoeg voor ons en de bagage. Kortom: een aanrader en wij gunnen deze man meer werk. Als iemand meer info wil mag hij/zij dat altijd aan ons vragen. Een kleine selectie van de foto’s zet ik op Christi”s Facebook.

In March, 2017, my 2 daughters and I spent the most wonderful holiday in Sri Lanka with Christi as our guide.
He is extremely knowledgeable and gave us insightful information to the many wonderful places we went to.
Christi smooths out anything and everything for his clients.
He is charming and caring – also a safe driver, always on time. Altogether, a great guide!

I had the good fortune to tour much of Sri Lanka with Christi twice, the first time about 15 years ago. I wanted to experience the history and culture of the country, to the extent possible. There was a civil war then that preventing travel in much of the north and east. Christi gave me the experience of a lifetime. For more than a week, we toured in his van visiting not just the fantastic historical sites but small villages and enterprises like tea and coconut plantations.. On returning to Australia, I enthused so much about Christi’s tour, that family members insisted on breaking a trip to Europe with me to tour Sri Lanka again with Christi some years later for 2 weeks. It was another huge success.

Christi is a great tour guide, hugely knowledgeable about Sri Lankan history, culture and all the sights. He is very customer centred and is a wonderful host and facilitator, making sure he tailors his tours to interests rather than just chasing the schedule. Reliable and punctual he really made our family visit to Sri Lanka very special and I would definitely work with him to plan and arrange any future trip we might make to this wonderful place. I have recommended him to others thinking about Sri Lanka for a holiday without hesitation.

During our summer holiday in 2014, my wife and I wanted to show our daughters wonderful Sri Lanka. We’ve spend our honeymoon in Sri Lanka (1996) and at that time we were sure we’d come back again. During the 2014-trip, Christi was our driver and personal guide. I remember him dreaming and planning to run his own tour operation and we were sure it would (and will be) a success ! And why: just because he’s a great tour guide. And that’s not only about driving us from A to B, but also making the trip safe, fun, educational, personal and therefore in one word unique. Sri Lanka is the country with the widest variety of beautiful sights, cultures, history and people I have even seen. And with Christi – it was realy unforgettable !

Our family group toured Sri Lanka in April 2017 and enjoyed a most delightful 16 days in beautiful Sri Lanka. From meeting us at the airport on our arrival after midnight , to taking us to markets shopping (not in our itinerary) and showing us the magical sights, Christi was the most wonderful tour guide we could have wished for. Christi’s was able to answer all our questions relating to Sri Lanka, from history, wildlife, culture to the latest news. We learnt and saw so much! Thank you Christi for showing us the breath taking sights, the hiking and climbing adventures, the warm and welcoming culture shows in private homes all of these activities made our visit to Sri Lanka memorable. A special mention about your safe driving, the cleanliness of your vehicle and your reliability to always be there when we needed you. My family and I spent unforgettable time in Sri Lanka twice in the last two years, with Christi as our guide, trip advisor and driver. His professionalism and character was one of the main highlights of our vacations. Thanks to Christi we got to know much more about the country, history and culture. We felt extremely comfortable on the whole road trip and of course grateful for his care and attention.
